We had a walking tour with Carlos in San Salvador and it was such an amazing experience . He is an incredible guide! Extremely knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about sharing the history and culture of El Salvador. We learned so much and appreciated how clearly and thoughtfully he explained everything. Our guide (a nice lady whose name I unfortunately no longer remember) was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was incredibly interesting to hear about the recent history of the country regarding the imprisonment of the bandilleros by the new president. It was also interesting to hear from local men and women, who we met at the tour, about how life was before these changes.

His knowledge of San Salvador/El Salvador History, Culture and Politics…provided a meaningful and well-rounded tour experience! All while keeping it Fun and easy. It was a slightly different guided tour. Our guide, Azucena, was lovely and ensured a great atmosphere. We had a pleasant afternoon and met some wonderful new people. We learned interesting things about El Salvador in a fun and relaxed way.
