I had an incredible time on this tour! Learning about this city and it's history - both distant and recent - from a local was a very eye-opening and unforgettable experience. It was definitely the highlight of my time in San Salvador! Carlos was knowledgable about many topics on the tour from the architectural styles of the buildings to the historical roots upon which the city was founded to the present day local customs. He was thus able to tailor the tour to my interests as well, which was really fantastic for an American being in Central America for the first time. I can't recommend this tour enough! Especially for anyone who is interested in learning about the culture of modern Salvadorians and what has shaped that culture through history.
