Interesting tour and nice to see some of the more hidden places in Cusco. For me the guide was a little bit overenthusiastic, speaking really fast and sharing a lot of info in a short amount of time. Also he walked very fast so I had some difficulties following his pace on this altitude. Overall good experience but be prepared because it’s quite a lot.
Very enthusiastic guide with a great proficiency in English. Showed us some nice street art and hot spots in Barranco and told interesting facts about the place which kept me interested the whole time. Would definitely recommend!
The guide was very enthusiastic and showed a lot of things. For me it was a bit overwhelming though because I was the only one in the group and the tour took about 5 hours, in which the guide constantly kept talking and giving information to me. At some point I couldn’t absorb any more and I was just a bit tired. Also I expected the tour to be more food oriented than it turned out to be. We visited a couple of places but I don’t have the feeling I can grasp the food culture of Lima now.
Had a very good time with Joan on this walking tour. He tells a lot of stories with great enthusiasm and brought us to places we wouldnt easily go ourselves. He also gave us great recommendations for the rest of our stay in Arequipa.
Really enjoyed this tour, would highly recommend it. The guide showed a lot of very interesting and highly historically and politically relevant places and gave the stories and context with it. He also made sure that during the stories we could sit down in the shade.
