Rubin is an incredible guide. He knows the history of the city and country with great details, and most important, he can contextualize all the social and political scenarios with an extremely facility. Highly recommended.
great tour. I wish the beginning part was shorter and walking around started sooner as it was too cold and some friends withdraw earlier due to the coldness
Rubin is incredibly knowledgable and gave us an in-depth glimpse into the history of Cape Town. My husband is a history buff and loved it. I'm not so much a history buff, but still enjoyed it and learned a lot. This is definitely an in-depth history tour, not one made of sunshine and rainbows!
Rubin was wonderful. Informative, gave great context to the wider history of Capetown and South Africa. He was extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this walk.
