An excellent Dubrovnik and GoT tour. Good mix of Dubrovnik/GoT landmarks with backup laminated GoT images. This along with Paula’s personal Croatian Homeland experiences brought the fairly recent wartime and peacetime impact into focus. Handled the group questions and movement/management of the tour superbly 😁
It was a very nice tour. Paula has lived in Dubrovnik for her whole life, so she's experienced everything in the past 4 decades including the homeland war (which she helped us understand was not a civil war) and was an extra in the Game of Thrones! Very interesting and entertaining and the perfect way to start my Croatian holiday.

Paula had lots of personal stories when it comes to Game of Thrones making the show alive! Sharing her personal war experience ans a child was heartbreaking. Nevertheless, we enjoyed every part of the tour! So interesting and entertaining.

Paula was an excellent guide. As an extra in GoT, she had a lot of interesting anecdotes about the experience. As well, the tour covered quite a bit of Dubrovnik history as well as her personal experience of the war of the 1990s. Recommended.
Paula’s tour was exceptional. We have done many walking tours previously around the world, and this was truly one of the best we have joined. Paula’s knowledge, passion, humour and personal stories really brought the experience and city to life. She gave us an excellent all round insight into the city’s history and the game of thrones era. We were then able to use her info to contextualise and pinpoints other activities of interest. If you pick any tour in Dubrovnik, pick this one, 11/10!
Amazing, thorough, engaging tour! Paula was very engaging for the full 2 hours! It was authentic and she kindly shared personal experiences which added to the quality of the tour. It was accessible as there weren’t many stairs and the distance covered was minimal. We managed to see all of the old town and then received recommendations for areas of interest to explore further. Paula kindly suggested places to eat which were a great addition!
We continue exploring Dubrovnik. October 16 , air temperature about 26°C, sunny, many tourists, but no congestion. I can't imagine what would happen in the summer. In the evenings, all the cafes, bars, and restaurants of the old town operate at full capacity, and some have live music. Now the good food festival is also taking place, you can choose complex menus from the best restaurants without selling your house. But most of all I wanted to brag about the fact that we were again extremely lucky with a guide named Paula - oh, the person knows how to include in the story: the history of Croatia, and Dubrovnik, and folk traditions, and recommendations, and the second season of Game of Thrones, because she was filming there as peasant woman Literally 15 out of 10 stars. I highly recommend it. And Dubrovnik itself in autumn, and Paula itself.

The tour with Paula was excellent! She is a local who shared personal stories about the history, her experience not only as an extra on the Game of Thrones set but also going up during the war. She was extremely articulate and informative and well versed. She i received her masters in Dublin and returned back to Dubrovnick to teach but found her passion as a tour guide. I am so happy that I decided to do the tour. I watched the Game of Thrones but barely remembered it.... loved that this combined both history and GOT fun. I highly recommend this tour. It's small and she kept us moving thru the old city. Perfect!!!

Paula provides a great mix of information with this tour from the history of the old city and the game of thrones with such a friendly demeanor. I have not watched much of the series but it was interesting to see the snapshots versus actual location. Most fascinating to us was her actual experiences of the years of the homeland war and living within the old city with her family and its culture and traditions.
