I had a wonderful tour with Marcelo. Despite the windy and chilly weather, I was extremely glad that I was able to listen to his stories about the rise of Rome before leaving Italy. His tales about the different sites allow me a glimpse into how life was during the Roman Age, and completely shifted my vision of Rome. If given the chance, I would have stayed longer just to hear him tell me more things about Rome and Italy as a whole. Wonderful guide, he represents all the things that Walking Tour is supposed to be. I can't recommend him enough!

Really nice tour but what made it amazing was our tour guide Marcelo, he was very objective and all the information he shared was reliable and very interesting, he clearly knows what he is taking about. As he is Roman himself he is able to share many nuances of Roman culture and lifestyle which is priceless.
Marcello is engrossed in Roman history and shares his enthusiasm with great stories and energy. He brought the story of the formation of Rome to life amongst it’s ruins and monuments giving me insight into the patterns of democracy and civil organisation that carry forward to modern times.
