Michael is very personable, knowledgeable and gave us many practical information. His tour was long enough to cover the subject and short enough to keep it interesting. He was clear, concise and easy to understand. He even gave us tips for our next destination, Delphi. Thank you, Michael.
We did this walk on a sunny Saturday morning after we met Michael at the prearranged meeting point close to Thiseio station. After quick introductions and the opportunity to grab a coffee or use the toilet facilities we started off on a three hour wander around the historical sites of Athens. Stops included the library, a current excavation site, the parliament building to watch the changing of the guard, the cathedral and city gates before ending close to the entrance to the Acropolis. This tour, conducted in excellent English was paced well, never felt rushed and was very informative. Thank you Michael for entertaining and educating us for a few hours whilst showing us around your current home city.
