Hiraku was an amazing guide! I would recommend his walk to everyone wanting to experience a great tour of Shibuya and the surrounding areas. He was extremely professional, had great information about the sites and was engaging with everyone. you know you are in for a good time when they bring out their own folder of photos! I can’t praise him enough!

Hiraku gave us a great tour of the Shibuya ward in Tokyo, so we definitely recommend this tour! Hiraku’s tour was focused on several highlights, such as the Shibuya crossing and the Meiji shrine. We appreciated all the information he gave us when visiting these highlights, and especially appreciated how he taught us what manners/behaviors are considered respectful in public and religious places in Japan. We would have liked a bit more Japanese history (e.g. how Tokyo became the main capital, different periods in Japanese history), but he did tell a bit about it. He was also very open to any questions, so I am sure you could ask him if you want to know more. Finally, he was just very nice and experienced (we were amazed by how he could keep the group together at the Shibuya crossing) and even gave out his number if you wanted to text him during the rest of your stay in Japan.
