Konnichiwa! Ich bin Ryo, Ihr ortskundiger Reiseführer. Ich habe meinen Abschluss an der Shinjuku Public High School gemacht, die 5 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Shinjuku entfernt liegt. Ich besuchte die Waseda University, die etwa 30 Gehminuten vom selben Bahnhof entfernt liegt. Ich habe in der Stadt Kabukicho gelebt und für eine Filmproduktionsfirma im Bezirk Shinjuku Nichome gearbeitet. Ich habe viele der Einrichtungen, die wir während der Tour besprechen werden, aus erster Hand besucht. Daher betrachte ich mich als Einheimischen. Tagsüber bin ich Nachhilfelehrer und unterrichte Abiturienten in Englisch.
Ryo was amazing from the beginning of the tour and didn’t hesitate to dive deeper into Shinjuku’s dark history. A lot of personal stories shared by him helped me understand the internals of how Shinjuku’s night life operates. It only happens on Sunday’s generally so make sure you keep it free for this tour!
Ryu was a great guide and the tour was very interesting - bringing to life the darker side and sex industry and history of Shinjuku. He shared the information and insights in very clear and thoughtful way and was very personable. Glad we took this tour!!

Ryo was legitimately the best tour guide ive had in my life, the guy’s sense of humor and storytelling is top notch! Im so glad I got to meet him and learn more about the underground scene of tokyo! Amazing!!!!
