The tour with Mary was different than expected. By reading the description I was aware already that this won't be a usual walk though. Mary is well educated and due to her (former) job and studies she has a generally broad knowledge about history and politics. Nevertheless, many of the topics covered are told from or with a very personal, subjective prospective, coming from Mary's own polish origin. A lot of her thoughts made room in my mind for other perspectives, but also in others of her opinions I cannot find myself. Mary put a lot of dedication into her presentation and she could have filled weeks telling us more and more. At the end, the tour took over 4 hours, which was definitely a bit too long.
Marc is an amazing guide! He is passionate, patient, fun and easy going. I enjoyed the tour a lot! Greetings, Nadja
Usual standard tour. Informative but not exceptional presentation wise. The use of a microphone would help in some places even though it is small groups.
I was on the tour with Marco who was exceptionally and extraordinarily amazing. He is personalised guiding passion! He even managed to remember names and origins of the participants - and we were a huge group! He doesn't just flood you with historical dates, but he puts it all into stories - nice packages that help you follow and understand. From my point of view not the easiest task, considering that a lot of historical sites do not exist nowadays anymore, so he needs to create many things in the head of the participant. He also directly involves participants and wants to make sure everyone is having a good time and takes as much as possible out of the information provided. I can 1.000% recommend a tour with him. But make sure to wear comfy shoes, the walk really takes almost 3 hours. Unfortunately some people left shortly before the end without paying anything which is absolutely disrespectful especially considering the memorable job Marco did!
