Now THIS is how a walking tour should be done. I applaud the ladies for a job well done, and their great ability to show hospitality and attention to their attendees. They guided well, and answered all questions asked, and had patients. My only wish is that they start offering tours of Old San Juan also.
I thought it was a decent tour, but to make someone feel ashamed by requesting $20usd minimum is unfair and very embarrassing. Especially when the information on my app says $10 Usd minimum, which is what I thought my experience was worth after converting from my currency.
I could have spent all day exploring the city and trying new foods. Thanks so much!
Minimum was $20, but he said he would accept $10. I absolutely did not have either those amounts in cash. And declined her offer to go exchange cash.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the history of the area but also the current / ongoing challenges. She showed us so many beautiful murals and monumental area within the comuna. Our group left feeling very grateful of the experience
