Shohrux was an excellent tour guide for my day in Khiva. He was at the meeting point early, and since I ended up being the only guest that morning we set right off. He is very well-informed and as we walked around told me not only the basics of what I was seeing, which is interesting but I could find online as I ended up doing in Bukhara, but he also gave me some unique anecdotes about the people or places there. He spent nearly 3 hours with me, and the time passed relatively quickly, and i was definitely not bored. He even took some photos of me since I was traveling alone. Gave me good restaurant suggestions and tips not to get taken advantage of. Would definitely recommend Shoh.

We have been doing Guruwalk on every major cities in Uzbekistan and was really enjoying the experience. Our final leg in Khiva was also memorable with Shakhrukh's guided tour of Khiva. He is a great guide and took us through the entire history of Khiva. He is very passionate about culture and history and patiently answered all of our questions - A big thanks to that. The tour was 3 hours but we did not feel fatigued or bored at any moment. All in all a great experience. We wish all the best to Shahkrukh and highly recommend this tour of Khiva to others as well.
