Unfortunately we and other guests couldn't take the tour as the guide never showed up.
Mieko was a great tour guide! After our original tour was cancelled due to "severe storm alert" (aka light rain) we booked this tour with Mieko. It was a great tour and we really recommend it. It mixed both history and nature with the park, and newer stuff with the famous shopping street. Mieko had multiple photos to show as she guided us along and she explain everything about the shrine and Shinto in great detail.
First the tour changed the day of the tour and then cancelled altogether with almost no notice. We didn't have time to book an alternative.
