The tour guide, Mib, was so friendly, kind, and very informative about each area we toured. I learned a lot of interesting historical facts about Panamá. We had a great time and the views of the city were amazing. There were plenty of rest breaks. Physically, I did very well with the cycling considering that I’m 71 years young and it has been at least seven years since I’ve been on a bicycle!!!! I really enjoyed the entire biking experience. I’m so glad that I’m physically able to bike with much younger people. I highly recommend this bike tour and Mib is simply the best!!!!
I was scheduled to tour with Daniel but had a different guide. The two young ladies who ran the tour were nice and eager to show Panama. You'll get lots of good exercise while seeing the old town. I enjoyed the bicycle tour.
This bike tour is designed for a casual glimpse into what Panama City has to offer. Bikes lack proper maintenance (seats, water bottle holders, kickstands). Helmets are provided upon request. You should be comfortable riding on busy streets with lots of cars as the first half of the tour is all within the Old Town area in lots of traffic. The last half of the tour was the best as we were on paved bike trails with fabulous views. There’s a nice surprise from the guides in one of the markets that we visited.
I was scheduled to tour with Daniel but had a different guide lead the tour. He was very kind and knowledgeable and took the time to explain the significance of town squares and important buildings. Beware that there’s a $15 rental fee for the bike alone.
