A really excellent tour. Despite the very cold conditions in Budapest today, we thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. Thank you to Barbie the tour guide for sharing her knowledge and stories - it was very interesting and a great introduction to the Pest side of the city.

Our guide was delightful, and she really knows history! She was kind and has a good sense of humor. She could answer any questions deeply, and was also honest. It was a very cold evening, so I would suggest for anyone else that if you have a chance, take the tour in the morning during the winter time! Otherwise, Fortuna is great and has a strong voice, so if you get her, you won't have any problem with hearing your guide! :) Thank you Fortuna, see you next time!

Istvan is incredible at what he does. He is highly informed, always engaging and incredibly personal. I was amazed at how easily he connected with everyone individually within his jam-packed program and highly skilled delivery of fascinating information. Istvan is the best way to be introduced to Budapest and Hungary, and I can’t recommend him more highly!

Fun and impressive

I couldn't recommend István more. One of the best type guides I've had. He kept everyone engaged and excited in extremely cold temperatures and very windy conditions. I learned a lot, both traditional Hungarian history and some more interesting little details you wouldn't normally hear on a tour. Definitely do a tour with István if you can while you're visiting Budapest!

Excellent guide overall

Professional and caring guide even in the snow! I had a wonderful tour with István, starting from St. Stephen's Basilica. Despite the heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures, the experience was perfect. István was incredibly professional and caring: he even contacted us beforehand to recommend dressing warmly and appropriately for the weather. He is a deeply empathetic and interactive guide who knows how to keep the group’s spirits high even in the cold. His human touch and great storytelling made the walk unforgettable. If you want a guide who truly looks after his guests and knows the city inside out, István is the best choice. Highly recommended!

This was a great tour to introduce us to the city! I learned about the history and saw lots of the beauty of the city.. Even though it was cold and snowy or guide was wonderful!
