I first joined Andrei on the Tipsy Tour and enjoyed it so much that I decided to book another tour with him. Best decision ever. This food tour was amazing, with a great mix of food, history, and culture. The stories were fascinating, and the food stops were so good I had to come back for more.

Definitely one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Andrei is a fantastic guide and storyteller who makes history interesting and fun. The evening felt very social, like hanging out with friends from all over the world, and the drinks spots were a real highlight. His recommendations after the tour were incredibly helpful too.

Ich habe schon viele Touristen gemachte, die meisten waren sehr gut- aber diese ist die Beste! Man kommt an abgefahrene Orte mit leckeren abwechslungsreichen Getränken und super Essen. There was a lot more history than i expected and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I found it to be educational and eye-opening to someone who is visiting Bucharest and Romania for the first time and knew very little about its storied past other than the world-class gymnasts they seem to effortlessly produce. The stories behind some monuments and relics are poignant. The food stops were good too! Highly recommend this tour.

How often do you have a tour guide with several university degrees, including a masters in Eastern European history giving you a “free “tour of an amazing capital city? Andreea was fantastic! I have participated in dozens of this type of Tour and she is among the very best. I would highly recommend one of her many styles of tours.

We joined a free tour with Andrea, and it was absolutely fantastic! She gave us a fascinating insight into traditional Romanian cuisine, explaining the origins of each dish with plenty of historical context. Her storytelling made history come alive, and her passion for her country’s culture was truly inspiring. We learned so much and tasted our way through Romania’s heritage at the same time. 100% recommended!

History made fun + social interaction + great local drinks. What's not to like? I had a marvelous time on this tour, as it is a social experience that seemed aimed not only to introducing us to the history and drinking spots of the city, but as well aimed at helping travellers make new friends. A lovely way to explore Bucharest and it's local food. This tour was a good mix of history and local snacks. Highly recommend doing it on your first morning in Bucharest, as the city feels like it's coming alive once you understand its history and people. As well, perhaps consider coming to the tour hungry, as there are plenty of delicious pastries to try along the way.

Great intro to Bucharest and it's history, and a great way to make new friends in a new city. Andrei was very warm and welcoming, and made us feel like we were all old friends. I loved the stops and the recommendations that I got from him. Great tour, great company. I would definitely go again.

I absolutely loved the tour. Andrei was a very good storyteller and all of the information was well structured. As well, the food stops were surprising, as dome of them are not places I would've thought to stop by myself. I highly recommend this tour, and I advise coming to the tour hungry.
