Take in the panoramic views of the mountain as you ride our air-conditioned bus and discover the history of its monastery by the hand of our passionate guides. Enjoy free time to explore on your own.
You'll continue towards a boutique winery (only Tapas and Lunch options). The cellar is in a 10th century castle owned by the same family for 36 generations, with magnificent views of the mountain you just visited.
Savour traditional flavors with a light tapas brunch or a multi-course traditional lunch at the winery (depending on the option selected). Learn about the wine-making process, and enjoy a 3-wine-tasting session before traveling back to Barcelona.
Add-On: VIP Winery Experience - Upgrade your day with exclusive access to the winery's barrel cellar, usually closed to the public. Guided by an expert, taste 3 premium wines in an intimate setting, including samples drawn directly from barrels and foudres.
Instructions
At Barcelona Nord Bus Station (C/Nàpols, 68. 08018 Barcelona), please enter the building and check in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive at least 20 minutes before the tour departure to complete check-in.
• Tour starts at 8:30 a.m. Please arrive at the meeting point 20 min before the start of the tour.
• If Tapas option or Only Montserrat option chosen: approximate return time is 15:30/15:45 (3:30 - 3:45 pm).
• If Lunch option chosen: approximate return time is 19:00/19:15 (7 - 7:15 pm).
• Please note that unexpected delays due to traffic may affect the return time. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
• The tour is led in English.
• There is a limit of 20 people per guide, although transportation will be shared with other groups.
• Our company is composed of a deeply committed team of people. We are working hard in our team, and with all our partners, to be up to the current circumstances. When operating, all our services will abide by all health and security policies issued by the competent administrations.
• Temperatures in Montserrat and the winery tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona. Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. We advise bringing water, especially in the summer season. Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended.
• Infants aged 3 or less may join the tour free of charge, but note that no car seat or meals are provided.
• We cater for any dietary allergies or restrictions.
• We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.
• Please notify us if you are interested in hearing the boys' choir/accessing the Virgin’s Throne during this experience.
