'Vilnius: From the ‘90s to Now' takes you through the Stotis district, a once-rundown area now undergoing a major transformation.

Unlike other tours, we explore the last 35 years of Lithuania's history, focusing on both modern hotspots and the social and economic changes shaping our people. We also tackle important topics—at the Open Gallery, filled with thought-provoking street art, we’ll discuss social issues like exclusion, poverty, and alcoholism.

Our journey begins in the bustling Hales Market, a place representing both tradition and transformation. Here, we’ll talk about the country’s shift from a planned economy to capitalism. We’ll then walk through the unpolished Kaunas Street to explore community changes and their broader impact.

Additionally, we’ll discuss migration and its role in shaping Lithuanian identity.

The meeting point is at Hales Market (Pylimo St. 58). Your guide will be waiting near the main entrance (stairs) from Bazilijonų Street. Look for someone wearing or holding something yellow—a name tag, a sign, or a bag.
