🟢 The architecture of the Islamic Medina : You will discover the secrets of the architecture of the Medina with its main components. You will also learn about the architecture of the Muslim quarter and its division between public and private parts.

🔴 Moroccan cultural diversity: You will live a totally different experience through a journey through time, taking you through those hidden places and corners, visiting its typical neighborhoods and focusing on the elements that make up the Moroccan cultural identity; Berber, Arab, Andalusian, and Jewish (the Tuchavim and the Sephardim).

📍 The experience always starts from the beginning: You will learn about the origins of the Medina of Marrakech and the reasons for choosing this strategic site, then we will go through the different dynasties that ruled in Marrakech and that marked the history of this city.

📍 Moul Laksour neighborhood: One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Marrakech, a privileged neighborhood for having been the burial place of Alfaquí Abdula El Ghazouani.

📍 Mouassin District: This is a district dating back to the time of the Sadians , where you can clearly see the daily life of the Medina.

📍 The Craft Guilds: This is an area hidden deep in the Medina, a part where you can see the different trades of Moroccan crafts and where everything is still done by hand to this day.

📍 The fur auction: Just after the guilds, you will discover one of the oldest activities in the Medina, which is still organised every day to this day.

📍 Ben Youssef Neighborhood: It is a neighborhood dating back to the time of Ali Ben Youssef, the son of the founder of Marrakech, where you will discover the three historical monuments of this neighborhood, the Almoravid Alcaba, the Ben Youssef Mosque and the Ben Youssef Medersa.

📍 The Souk: The world of colours and smells, a fascinating space where the colours of the fabrics mix with the smells of spices and incense, a creative, spiritual and aesthetic dimension of handcrafted items .

📍 Andalusian Quarter: Now called the Riad Azaitun quarter, it was the quarter where the Andalusians who came to settle in Marrakech lived. It is an opportunity to learn about the impact and civilisational contribution of the Moriscos in Marrakech.

📍 Jewish Quarter: Known as the Melah neighborhood, it was the neighborhood where Moroccan Jews lived and continue to live. In this neighborhood you will discover another cultural component and get an idea about the Jewish-Moroccan heritage .

📍 The Bahia Palace: It was a palace where the great Vizier Ba Hamad Ben Mousa, the 19th century prime minister, lived, a true example of a stately home, it was his house where he lived with his family and his servants. It is an architectural work in the Hispano-Moorish style, and an authentic design of what Riad architecture is.

📍 Badií Palace: A palace that was built by Sultan Ahmad Al Mansou Eddahbi, in the northeastern part of the Kasbah, a construction that reflects the dimension of power and the characteristics of Islamic art.

📍 Jamaa El Fna Square: It is A magical space in the city of Marrakech, a square that never sleeps, it is a meeting place for storytellers, snake charmers, monkey charmers, traditional musicians, food stalls and much more…

📍 The Koutoubia Mosque: The emblem of the city of Marrakech, a construction that has been able to withstand the passage of time, dates back to the Almohad era, which recalls the era of books and manuscripts of the 12th century.

• The guide will offer you all the information, advice and recommendations that will make your stay in Marrakech easier and more enjoyable.
• It will show you the places you can enter and the places you cannot.
• The tour is an opportunity to get an idea of the historical monuments from the outside, for example; the Ben Youssef Medersa, the Bahia Palace, the Badií Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque.
• We will explain all the activities and attractions that are worth doing in Marrakech.

• A minimum of 5 participants is required to guarantee the departure of the Tour.
• To ensure the smooth running of the tour, we are two accredited Official Guides, Raduan and Mohamed, who take turns doing it, and who share the same values that constitute this tour.
