Tour description

Hello everyone!

I'm Paolo, your friendly tour guide, and I'm really excited to show you around Ortigia. I'm a very friendly person, passionate about my city, and I love introducing you to not only the most famous spots but also the hidden gems that only a true Syracusan can know.

During our two hours together, we'll explore some of Ortigia's most fascinating wonders, as well as some secret corners that will take your breath away. Here are the six places we’ll visit:

  1. Piazza del Duomo: the beating heart of Ortigia, with the stunning Syracuse Cathedral.
  2. Fonte Aretusa: a magical spot where history and nature meet.

3. Lungomare di Levante: a beautiful walk with a breathtaking sea view.
4. Temple of Apollo: a reminder of ancient Syracuse, dating back to the 6th century BC.

5. Castello Maniace: a fortress overlooking the sea, telling centuries of history.

6. La Giudecca: the ancient Jewish Quarter, features narrow, winding streets and ancient buildings full of history

Throughout the tour, I’ll also give you some personal recommendations on what to do, to eat or drink and to see in Syracuse to make your vacation even more special!

Don’t forget to book your tour to experience something truly unique. I look forward to seeing you!
