Free Walking Tour of Imperial Rome
The tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes
Available in Spanish
Description
Starting from the established meeting point, we will climb one of the seven hills of Rome, the Capitoline Hill, from where we will enjoy one of the most evocative views of the city. In fact, from one of its terraces it will be possible to admire the imposing remains of the Roman Forum. Continuing the descent from the Capitoline Hill, we will walk along the Street of the Imperial Forums from where we will be able to observe, from the outside, the Forum and the market of Trajan, the Forum of Nerva and, finally, the Forum of Augustus. Our walk will end near one of the most symbolic monuments of the Roman Empire: the Colosseum; Admiring it from the outside, we will go through its history and that of the other monuments that dominate the square, such as the Arch of Constantine.
Guide: Eleonora
Guiding since 2025I am Eleonora, an official tour guide for Rome and its surrounding areas with decades of experience in the tourism industry. It is with immense pleasure that I offer my services as a tour guide in the area of Rome. The main purpose of my work is to propose itineraries, starting from the most classic and moving on to the most sought-after, narrated by my voice, animated by an inexhaustible enthusiasm and love for the infinite beauty of Rome. Together, we will try to breathe new life into these monuments, which sometimes seem to be lost in the sounds and colors of modern civilization, but which have ceaselessly symbolized the greatness of ancient Roman civilization for centuries.
