Tour description

We invite you to discover the history and legacy of Mendoza through a fascinating tour of its founding area.

We'll begin in Plaza Pedro del Castillo , the heart of the colonial city, where you can breathe in the atmosphere of its origins. Then, we'll explore the imposing ruins of the Church of San Francisco , which was destroyed by the devastating earthquake of 1861.

We will continue our journey through Plaza San Martín, exploring the history of this iconic place and discovering its evolution over time. We will admire the equestrian monument of General San Martín and highlight the presence of the Basilica of San Francisco, an architectural gem steeped in history and spirituality.

Finally, we will explore the area's post-earthquake architecture until we reach a wine shop where we will taste regional wine.
