See the MET without getting lost! See a sample of the best artworks in about 2 hours!

Join us for this introduction into the METs vast art collection where we will do a survey of western art history from Egyptian Sphinx’s, Ancient Greece and Rome, Medieval Knights, Italian Renaissance, sculpture, French Impressionism, Surrealism, contemporary art and more!

With a focus on western art we will be looking at about 30 works while traveling the globe and thousands of years looking at some of the best treasures in this 2 million square foot museum. Our tour, lead by a practicing artist, will take about 2 and a half hours with a break in between.

You will see the highlights of the MET without getting lost and learn history about the museum and tips for navigation. You will have time after our tour to go back and explore the museum on your own.

We will meet inside the Membership entrance, just to the left of the main entrance. This is a less busy entrance. Go through security and wait at the bench by the gift shop. I will have a colorful hat and scarf.
