My name is Beka, and I was born in the western part of Georgia. I have been guiding since 2017. I love traveling, hiking, reading, swimming, and cooking. My passion is to meet people and make them fall in love with Georgia.
If you love walking, hiking, cardio workouts, nature, photo shooting, and panoramic views, this experience is for you.
The distance of the route is 5.5 kilometers, and we cover it in 2.5 hours.
We start at 425 meters above sea level and finish at 770 meters in Mtasminda Park.
Georgia is famous for its cuisine, and when travelers visit the country, it's impossible not to get extra calories. Hiking Tour Tbilisi is the best tour in the whole city for leaving these extra calories in Georgia.
The tour has several benefits. It's one of the best ways to get cardio workouts. The route gives you the best panoramic views of Tbilisi, where you can take many good pictures. All of the tourist attractions of Tbilisi are visible from the viewpoints, and a tour guide explains them all.
The experience ends in Mtatsminda Park, an amusement park; you can visit a restaurant to try one of the best Adjarian Khachapuri and Georgian Donuts in the city or relax around the park.
Then, you can use a cable car or funicular to return to the city's center.
If you aren't good at hiking, please don't reserve this experience, as it will be tough.
The tour might be canceled because of the bad weather.
I will be waiting for you at the entrance of Liberty Square metro station. When you arrive, please text me on WhatsApp, and I will meet you.
In its original form, the National Youth and Children's Palace is sometimes called Pioneer Palace, National Palace, or Viceroy's Palace. The building's history dates back to 1802, when the Russian government was established in Georgia, followed by the appointment of a Commander-in-Chief of the Caucasus in Tbilisi.
The Parliament of Georgia building is on Rustaveli Avenue, opposite the Kashveti Church, flanked by the First Public School and the Youth Palace. Noteworthy for its grand architecture, the structure reflects the imposing style characteristic of Soviet-era government buildings. It once housed the Supreme Council of the Georgian SSR.
The first classical gymnasium. As archival materials show, the construction of the first classical gymnasium began in the 1830s and was reconstructed several times.
Mtatsminda (‘Holy Mountain’) is the highest point in Tbilisi, towering 300 meters above the city. The plateau is instantly recognizable for the Tbilisi TV Tower and Ferris Wheel (part of Mtatsminda Amusement Park) on top. Panoramic city views are the main attraction of Mtatsminda.
The magnificent Funicular Complex building was built in 1938. Since then, it has been an architectural landmark and the trademark of Tbilisi.
