Hello My Name is Micres but you can just call me "Mai" I am from the Philippines but currently living in Macao China. I decided to moved here 7 years ago and was stuck here since pandemic started until 2022, when I decided to go back home in the Philippines for while. So here is an interesting part about me of why I ended up becoming a local guide? It was May of 2022, I decided to go back home in the Philippines I was jobless and travelled different islands in the country and ended up in Cebu City where I spent a year. Then I was looking for something interesting to do more than working a corporate jobs. So I walk around the City for 3 hours then I realize to learn and discover the histories of the City then I found my own way to publish walking tours and be a local guide. Likewise, I am very passionate about travelling and meeting new people. And now I am arranging trips and guiding a tours around Cebu City Philippines and in Macao China.

Tour description

Macau is a place where you can feel the rich Portuguese heritage fused with Chinese culture in street signs, architecture, food, and more. This is a free walking tour with a local guide who will explain the historical and significance of each place that we will be visiting. Macau is also known as a "Little Las Vegas of Asia" where the only place in China that gambling is legal.

You can choose from the two options below:

Macau Walking Tour (9:30): Macau Peninsula, This tour option is mainly a historical site around the Macau Center, and also where you can find the very famous souvenirs and free taste shops in the area.

Cotai Strip Macau Walking Night Tour (18:30): The Little Las Vegas of Asia, this tour option is where you can see how beautiful the city lights in Macau at night especially the big hotels and casinos that are located in the Cotai Strip in Taipa.

Meeting point:

Largo do Senado, Macao

The meeting point and the starting point of the walking tour will be at the Senado Square Macau. I will be waiting in front of the Fountain. There is only one fountain in the Senado Square. Just let me know when you arrive :)

Free tours don't have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end the amount they consider appropriate (amounts usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
