Tour description

The tour begins with a meeting at 9:00 am at the ticket office entrance of the Flavian Amphitheatre.

I will take you on a pleasant walk in the historic center of Pozzuoli, where you will discover the most important sites of ancient Puteoli.

The visit will begin with the Flavian Amphitheater, an evocative experience inside one of the largest arenas for gladiator shows. Built during the reign of Nero, this amphitheater is fascinating for its underground galleries that you can explore.

We will then move to Borgo Del Rione Terra, the oldest and most evocative neighborhood of the town, where we will visit the exterior of the famous Temple/Cathedral.

We will then go down to the port visiting the old fishermen's dock, and then end up at the ruins of the Temple of Serapis, a majestic Roman monument and symbol of the city.
