Hello friends! I'm Ester, a lifelong Santander resident who has been in the beautiful city of dams for more than twelve years. I've been lucky enough to work around the city for a long time and telling you my stories and giving you recommendations makes me happy... I really enjoy showing the charms of this city to its visitors, and I've made it a way of life. Come and meet me and tell me what you need. In Amsterdam, everything is possible.
Would you like to discover Amsterdam in a different and practical way? Join this sunset walk, a historical tour designed for those looking for clear and useful answers while enjoying the beauty of the illuminated city at nightfall. For two hours, we will visit some of the most charming and authentic places in Amsterdam, just as the sunset gives way to a magical atmosphere that transforms the streets and canals.
This tour is special because I will not only show you the most important spots, but I will also help you resolve any questions you may have about local life, whether it be about gastronomy, transportation or must-see places. In addition, you will enjoy the city in a different light, discovering its most spectacular side when night falls.
My intention is that at the end of the tour, you feel much more connected to this incredible city.
We will start the tour at 7PM at the iconic Dam Square , the heart of Amsterdam, where you can feel the true essence of the city. We will circle around the famous Red Light District to discover how it has changed over time. We will continue to the Jewish Quarter , known for its cultural richness and significant past. We will pass by the historic Nieuwmarkt , a square full of life and steeped in history, and we will cross the vibrant Chinatown. The tour will culminate at the Basilica of St. Nicholas , in front of the iconic Central Station .
I'll be waiting for you at 7 at the Dam Square Monument, look for the pink umbrella !
I will be at the National Monument on Dam Square (among the lions) 10 minutes before the tour time. I will have my umbrella open and my ID hanging on my wrist.
