Susan is one of the most wonderful guides we ever had! She’s passionate about what she explains to you, and she brought an iPad where she showed us a lot of pictures. We got to new places we’ve never been in Bath and were told a lot about history. Really loved it and we recommend her tour so much!

I have actually been on Susan’s tour before and this time brought my family to do it. We love that Susan keeps her group sizes small, which meant we effectively had a private tour. Susan has added details to her tour since I last went and it was amazing to hear more insights into the history and urban planning of the city! My family absolutely loved the content, Susan’s energy, and the pace of the tour. It’s obvious Susan loves what she does and this city and that is reflected in the tour. We would absolutely recommend this and obviously have gone again!

Susan provided us with an excellent picture of Bath since the Roman settlement to the 18th century using her careful research. Her tour was enhanced by the use of her iPad to show imagined reconstructions of buildings etc. This is very much an adult tour. Probably the best city walking tour we’ve experienced!

Wonderful tour. Susan was very knowledgeable and interesting. She kept surprising us with her little secret locations, She had pictures of how Bath was in its heyday, and painted a picture in your mind of how it would have been if we were there. Not rushed and she encouraged us to ask questions whenever we needed clarification on something. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and bow see Bath through enlightened eyes. Definitely recommended.

Exceptional - very thoroughly researched, thoughtfully prepared and presented with great enthusiasm. Despite the downpour and the cold, we were fascinated throughout the tour, our many questions were answered knowledgeably and our interest sufficiently piqued to continue to reflect on what we had learned well after the end of the tour. What a shame a large group didn't turn up, they missed out on a great tour. But lucky me, I got a one-on-one experience. Susan is incredibly knowledgeable about Bath and I learned A LOT about the history of the city. I'm not really one for doing tours but this was a superb experience for me. I'd have learned next to nothing in comparison if I'd wandered around on my own. Thank you Susan and I will be recommending to everyone I know who will be visiting this City.
