It is going to be little walk day for those joining.
Starting with Sultanahmet Square, we will learn about the surroundings. Talk about German Fountain, Egyptian obelisk and hippodrome.

History of Hagia Sophia & Topkapi Palace. Learn how to enter, when to go and what to expect.
Than we will walk up to Grand Bazaar entrance. Through the journey, we talk about transportation of Istanbul. And the rest will be up to you.

German Fountain
The German Fountain, located at the northern end of the Hippodrome, is a gift from Kaiser Wilhelm II to the Ottoman Empire in 1901. Walkers will admire its neo-Byzantine design, featuring a dome with golden mosaics and eight marble columns. The Egyptian Obelisk
The Hippodrome of Constantinople, now Sultanahmet Square, was once the heart of Byzantine public life, hosting chariot races and grand events. Walkers will see ancient monuments like the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpent Column, and the Walled Obelisk. This historic site offers a glimpse into the city’s rich past and is a great spot to reflect on the grandeur of ancient Constantinople.
