I enjoyed this tour very much. A relaxed and easy going conversation with wit and humour. Unexpected lesson in playing Pilote was a highlight. Thoroughly appreciated the recommendations for food and refreshments.

The tour was interesting, fun and easy to follow. Some historic facts but not too much to get boring. We had a great walk around even though it was raining, we got into places I would have never expected like cafe Iruña. Our guide was entertaining, engaging and in high spirit to carry the mood of the group. His first hand experience at the bull run is a great testimony and interesting story to hear. I was surprised because this finally reminded me of those first years of the free walking tours where people were sharing their experience in the city and interesting facts…more than a list of dates. Totally recommended, after 2.5 hours you will know much more about Pamplona and the Bull run and have a big smile 😊 I am very grateful we still had the tour with so few people booked 🙏

We really enjoyed learning from his first hand experience of running with the bulls. The men in the group appreciated his patient teaching of the game Jai lai. We would have liked more historical details of the city, but did enjoy hearing about his life there.

My mother and I were visiting for a short time and the best time touring the city with Gus. He took us to so many great places and was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. He also taught us how to play jai alai!

We had a great time with Gus! He was so informative on not only the points he had ready but could answer any of our questions, even those that might not have been relevant to our topic. His personality is funny and positive, I had a great time getting to know him and learning about Pamplona.

If you only have a few days in Pamplona this is the tour for you. Wonderful introduction to the city, its history and especially the experience of the Festival of San Fermin Gus is personable and easy going. He was very generous with his time and offered unique experiences such as teaching us some basic Basque words, a stop at a sweet shop and giving us a try at playing Jai Alai. When we passed by the restaurant La Olla, one of the servers yelled out “The best guide in Pamplona “. I couldn’t agree more.
