Free Tour Old Town of Pamplona/Iruña
Tour description
It's likely that if someone mentions Pamplona, the first thing that comes to mind is the San Fermín festival, but what if I tell you that it's a city with over 3,000 years of history, marked by its strategic location and the countless conflicts that took place within its imposing walls?
We will start our tour in the heart of the city, Plaza del Castillo, and then visit the most emblematic places of the festival, the town hall, and the Santo Domingo slope, the Mercaderes curve, and the very famous Estafeta street.
We will talk about medieval Iruña next to the church of San Saturnino, the Cathedral, and the Rincón de Caballo Blanco.
We will finish with a short walk along the walls, from the Baluarte del Redín, one of the most impressive viewpoints in the entire city.
