What will we see on this tour?

Charles de Gaulle – Étoile, 75008 Paris, France

We will meet directly in front the Arc de Triomphe, in the middle of the roundabout. Your guide Ben will be holding a red umbrella and wearing a T-shirt which reads 'Raconteur Paris Walking Tours'! If you're taking the metro to the Arc, you can get off at Charles de Gaulle – Étoile station and take exit number 1. To get to the Arc, follow the signs to take the underground passageway - there is an entrance on the right-hand side of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées as you are facing the Arc. You do not require a ticket or a reservation to access the Arc itself. (You may see people lining up for the paid ticket to take the stairs to the viewing platform at the top of the Arc; you can walk straight past them!)
