My name is Marian, I am French-Costa Rican and I love sharing everything I know about San José de Costa Rica, my hometown. I will take you off the beaten path to discover San José in a totally different and enjoyable way, while you get a little exercise on this wonderful walking tour.
Not only will we visit the main historical monuments and learn a little better about the History of Costa Rica (National Museum, National Park, Old Liquor Factory, National Theater, among others), but you will also have the opportunity to experience San José as we do. Costa Ricans (the "Ticos"): you will see lesser-known places less frequented by tourists, small tastings, and we will finish the tour in the colorful Central Market where you can stay trying the local cuisine, sweets, and doing a little shopping. Additionally, throughout the tour, you will receive many tips for your stay: authenticity above all!
