I'm a travel writer, who has a passion for exploring history, stories and local culture. I've lived all over the world and have been based in Montreal for two years. I'm naturally a very curious person who loves sharing information in an entertaining way.
*Please note, there needs to be a minimum of 5 people signed up in total for the tour to go ahead. Look forward to showing you around!

If the Old Port is the heart of Montreal, then Little Italy and the Mile End are definitely its stomach! This tour will give you insider knowledge into the rich historical stories of these neighbourhoods and how they weave into the overall narrative of Montreal.
We will begin our visit in the Mile End neighbourhood, a trendy, artistic community that is a melting pot of immigration. Then, we will retrace the steps of the earliest Italians in Montreal in Little Italy and end the tour at Jean Talon Market, exploring North America's largest open air market with fresh local produce from Quebec.
These neighbourhoods offer culinary delights, such as wonderful Italian pastries, coffee and the famous Montreal bagels... make sure you bring cash with you (some places don't accept card)!
We will meet in front of the main doors of the St. Enfant Jesus Church in the Mile End (at Lahaie Parck, between Boulevard St. Joseph and Ave. Laurier). I will be holding a blue umbrella.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
