Native of Argentina. I am trained in Tourism and a university professor of Portuguese, I have been in love with Brazilian culture for several years. I have traveled a lot in Brazil, a few months ago I decided to move to Rio. //////////// I am a native of Argentina, trained in Tourism and in Literature. He was passionate about Brazilian culture - he met several Brazilian states and faced the short time he decided to live in Rio de Janeiro.
If you like to delight in the beauty of architectural details, I invite you to discover together, one by one, each construction has a rich history that you will be interested in knowing.
All of them make this city a true display of open-air art. I suggest you take the time to walk with me for just 4 kilometers, we will do it on foot so that we can feel like locals for the time it will take us to get to know it.
You will be able to appreciate at every step what it is like to live here.
What are we going to visit?
We will start from Escadaria Selarón. Very close are the entrance gates to the neighborhood that stands out for its bohemian style, the famous Lapa Arches, a few steps away is the Cathedral of São Sebastião, then 20 minutes away is the Tiradentes Palace, in front is the Igreja do Carmo da Antiga Sé and a few meters away is the Banco Brasil Cultural Center, very quickly we pass by the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Candelária to finally walk the last 20 minutes to the star of the tour, the majestic Museu do Amanhã
Your turn to comment will come and I will be interested in reading your comment.
I hope you are interested in “taking a look” at the proposed sites, which will undoubtedly win you over even more to this “wonderful city”.
I will be on Joaquim Silva and Teotonio Regadas street (Escaderia Selaron) in Lapa. At the scheduled time, I will be wearing a white muscle shirt - black and white cap - the plan is to stay in touch through WhatsApp messages.
