I am Paola, an official guide and a lover of Alicante, where I have lived for more than 30 years. I studied Tourism because I enjoy learning the history and culture of each place and then teaching it to those who visit us. But above all what he likes most is telling stories. On this tour we will visit the key places to learn about the present, past and future of Alicante, when the sun sets. With the help of a certified local guide, you will discover everything that makes this city special. You will meet some of the characters who have walked our streets, the most incredible legends and you will know why they say we are the best land in the world.
We will meet in front of the Tourist Office, and from there, looking at the castle, we will begin to discover the origin of our city. Then we will head to Casa Carbonell, where you will learn the reason for its construction and its most famous legend.
We will continue our walk towards some of the most beautiful squares. Did you know that what is now the Plaza Gabriel Miró was once an ancient cove?
Our tour will continue at the Co-Cathedral of San Nicolás. In addition to learning about its history, you will decipher the origin of its graffiti.
We will then visit the 18th century Town Hall Square with its baroque columns before heading to the oldest building in the city, where you will learn about some of its miracles.
At this point we will say goodbye, but first we will give you some tips and tricks to enjoy the city to the fullest.
