Haven't you visited San Telmo yet?
Without a doubt one of the neighborhoods that you cannot miss !
On this tour we will take an incredible walk through the most picturesque corners of the city, on a historical journey that will transport you to Colonial Buenos Aires, its architectural styles, its customs and secrets.
We will begin in Parque Lezama, bordering the neighborhood of La Boca, located exactly in the year 1536. We will travel through the fascinating history of the founding of Buenos Aires and try to imagine that intercultural encounter with the native peoples.
We will advance through the 17th and 18th centuries, where we will see buildings founded by the Jesuits and the Bethlehemites, such as the Parish of San Pedro González Telmo.
We will walk along the street where the English troops entered at the beginning of the 19th century, and we will visit iconic buildings such as the Ezeiza residence, built at the end of that century.
We will visit the houses of emblematic figures such as the painter Juan Carlos Castagnino and the Tango singer Edmundo Rivero.
We will be able to take charming photos , such as the narrowest house in the city of Buenos Aires and a sky of colored umbrellas.
We will delight in architectural gems such as the Russian Orthodox Church with its neo-Byzantine style, the Danish Church with its neo-Gothic style.
We will finish in the heart of San Telmo: the Dorrego square.
Bars, art, history, food, beer, antiques and more.
San Telmo will be yours! Enjoy it 😊
We will wait for you!
