Around Dublins Historic Seven Bridges Tour

Join me for a journey through Dublin's rich history along the banks of the river Liffey. We will take a looped walk around the 7 key bridges than span the Liffey from the famous cast iron Ha'penny Bridge to the cable stayed Samuel Beckett Bridge. You'll find out how Dublin has grown from the time of the Vikings through to its role in the British Empire and its fight to independence. Alongside this we'll explore the role of our playwrights and artists from Beckett and O'Casey to U2 and how Dublin has shaped their work. You'll also discover the rich and deep history of the buildings, boats and sculptures that can be found all along the banks of this great river.
