We enjoyed this tour so much more than we expected! It was a fascinating way to learn about the history, art, and traditions of Jalatlaco and Oaxaca in general. We were 2 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 11) and they both also enjoyed it. It is hot so we certainly recommend a hat / sunglasses / water / even bringing an umbrella for shade. That said, the guide was great about finding shady spots to stop and talk when possible. We almost skipped the tour to explore the murals on our own and are so glad we didn’t as we truly learned so much that we would not otherwise had had access to.

Not sure why she's not fully booked but grateful to have had a private tour with Su. She definitely understood the history and stated the tour in places right by our hotel and off the beaten path. She answered all our questions and had a great pace. She pointed to all the local food spots and gave us great recommendations to explore the area. Now I'm even more excited to check out the city. Definitely do early in the trip.

Loved this tour with Sue, she was a wealth of historical information. I was so impressed by her knowledge and ability to answer questions. We really went in depth about the city and it's various sites. LOVED the murals and learning about the process of their creation and how the city of Oaxaca is evolving. Highly recommend.
