Tour Description

Join us on a walk through the historic center of La Candelaria, where you can discover the magic of the architecture of this emblematic neighborhood of Bogotá, there the city really began, we will also find a mix of colonial deco and modern art also telling the history of the first inhabitants of this city; the indigenous Muiscas, passing through their cobblestone streets, old and colorful with graffiti and hostels, then arriving at our history of violence by political parties, which resulted in the birth of guerrilla groups in Colombia, which later led to the creation of paramilitary groups, all this with the help of drug trafficking money, which as a result of all this negative impact we would end up in a conflict of more than 50 years, you will also learn the history of the emerald mafia, as well as the wealth of our natural resources and a wide variety of fruits and of course our coffee; the softest in the world.

We will end our tour by learning a little about our coffee tradition and tasting a delicious cup of Colombian coffee.
