Tour description

Explore Sucre's local cuisine on a food tour through several neighborhoods, using local buses and enjoying delicious traditional food. Savor a typical breakfast and try snacks and desserts representative of the city.

The tour begins in the Cementerio neighborhood, with a quintessential Bolivian breakfast: Api or Tojori accompanied by a pastry. Then, take a public bus to the Campesino market, enjoying the traditional views and colors along the way.

At the Mercado Campesino, explore the city's largest market, a maze of streets lined with shops and merchants selling a variety of goods. Here, you can sample soups and spicy dishes at a local restaurant.

Next stop is the Central Market, a place filled with locals doing their daily shopping. Following your guide, visit a popular restaurant specializing in homemade food, where you can try delicacies such as Mondongo, Mixto, and Sopa de Maní, prepared by local vendors.

The tour includes a stop to try out Sucre's famous chorizo sandwiches and explore the colorful fruit and juice section, where you can taste the best local fruits.

Finally, visit the historic center and the best salteñerías in the city to try Bolivian-style empanadas, with vegetarian options included. Finish your tour by indulging in the best chocolates in the country, completing an unforgettable gastronomic experience in Sucre.
The only extra expense will be for the local bus service which will be 4 bs per person.
Other expenses are voluntary.
