I'm a licensed tour guide in Bucharest, born and bred here. My tours focus on historical facts, peculiar trivia, fun stories and personal experience. My absolute favorite activity is showing people this overlooked corner of the world. I've been a tour guide for almost six years and I've met thousands of tourists. The experience that I've acquired over the years helps me provide a top notch experience for tourists.

Tour description

If you want to explore most of Bucharest's iconic sites without having to take two or three different tours, this is the perfect choice! It includes Calea Victoriei, which encompasses the Romanian Athenaeum, the former Royal Palace, Revolution Square, the passage with colorful umbrellas, Capșa House, University Square, CEC Palace and the National History Museum.

At the end of the tour, you will have a solid understanding of the history and culture of Romania: how this country emerged, its transition from monarchy to dictatorship and from fascism to communism, the events during the communist regime and how the Ceausescu era ended. .
