“AMSTERDAM IS ESSENTIAL
"The Great Cultural Tour of Amsterdam"
⭕⭕
Welcome! As an architect and guide , I have 3 high-quality tours to show Amsterdam from different places and perspectives, as we have a very large historic center.
In this " fundamental" tour, The Great (cultural) Excursion through Amsterdam, I give you the fundamentals, or foundations, to understand this enigmatic city, which produces curiosity in so many aspects such as the height of the people, the Red Light District, the bicycles, or the leaning houses and for that we will walk the city embracing architecture, history, its idiosyncrasy, and its present in many aspects from the 13th century to the 21st century and the best way to get to know Amsterdam is to walk it with me as my friends do!
The TOUR
We will walk like mice through the city's alleys, searching for its origin and evolution imprinted in the architecture of the time. Wealth is presented to us in the Golden Age in the 17th century. I will show you its wonderful architecture, unique in the world. The Second World War, thousands of deportees and their traces in the Anne Frank House. In art, the famous painter Rembrandt and his work will be on the walk. Enslaved Africa, the engine of the wealth of Holland in the great human trade is presented to us without shame in Amsterdam. The Royal Palace, an icon of the city! Napoleon in Holland crosses our path on the walk!!! The Beginhof Convent from the 14th century is not to be missed, and then the Red Light District with the "tasty" mundane life of the Port of Amsterdam, canals, landscapes, fantastic bridges, convents, etc. Many themes, icons and places will be on the walk, all supported by pictures and photos to illustrate the story and make it more entertaining. I'm sure you will enjoy it, like all my excursions which are of high quality. If we have the desire and time, afterwards we will go for a coffee or a beer . The idea is to have a great time on an unforgettable walk .
