Tour description
We will begin the visit in the Plaza del Coso Viejo. We will explain why Antequera is a convent city, it is the city that has the most churches by number of inhabitants in Spain. We will go up through the most emblematic streets and visit the Posada de San Fernando, the place where Washington Irving stayed and mentioned in his famous work "The Tales of the Alhambra". In the upper part of the city we will contemplate the Peña de los Enamorados and discover the legend behind the great mountain. We will also see the Arch of the Giants, part of the Wall and the Collegiate Church of Santa María, which was one of the first Renaissance temples in all of Andalusia.
