Historic Center. Where our identity was born.
We will walk through the “Historic Center” of the City of Buenos Aires in its center.
We'll observe the historical, sculptural, and architectural icons that distinguish it, such as the Church of San Francisco, the City Museum (Altos de Elorriaga), the Manzana de las Luces (Block of Lights), the San Ignacio Church, the National College of Buenos Aires, the Santo Domingo Complex, Paseo de la Historieta (Historical Walk), Zanjón de Granados (Granados Zane), the Casa Mínima (Minimal House), San Telmo Market, Plaza Dorrego, and the San Pedro Telmo Church. We'll then visit the Puerto Madero neighborhood and visit the iconic Puente de la Mujer (Women's Bridge), where we'll conclude the tour. We'll also remember the historical figures who walked these streets, their lives, and their work.
This historical approach to colonial Buenos Aires and its comparison with the current neighborhood can give us a broader view of the heritage that accompanies it, along with its indisputable visual attractions.
