We will discover the key architectural treasures of Munich together during an entertaining 2,5-hour city walk.
We begin with the famous Frauenkirche, a gothic masterpiece underneath which lies a Romanesque treasure. Then, following the several superlatives of the ‘Michaelskirche,’ the first Renaissance church north of the Alps, we will dive into the abundance of Baroque and Rococo Styles with forms, colors, and the play of light and shadow.
Shortly after, we will discover the strict classicism of the Bayerische Staatsoper and be amazed by the beauty of Marienplatz, with the new city hall, Neues Rathaus, a great example of Historicism. We discover the local style 'Maximilianstil' at it's almost forgotten architect.
We will drive the Maximilianstreet by tram (ticket price included).
After crossing the Isar River, we find ourselves in beautiful nature and street art. Our tour ends with a modern cultural centre and the coolest temporary rooftop bar with the famous Canaletto-view of the historic center. It's a great place to rest, eat, and drink under palm trees!

Morning Special: On our morning tour at 07:15 am, we will have the old town 'just for us'. Great for photos, but remember this early not all churches are open.
You are welcome to pay in cash or with Paypal at the end of the tour ;)
