Our journey commences at Plaza Feddan, the starting point for our exploration. From here, we venture into the narrow streets where the Andalusian residences of Tetouan's historical nobility are nestled. As we wind through the labyrinth of streets, we'll unveil hidden gems brimming with allure, granting us a genuine glimpse into the daily lives of the locals.
A highlight of our tour is Jarazin, the artistic hub of the city. Here, we'll spend approximately 15 minutes savoring the breathtaking views of Tetouan, capturing these picturesque moments. Next, we'll delve into a tannery dating back to the late 15th century, where master artisans craft remarkable artworks from leather and other materials. You'll likely be tempted to acquire some souvenirs as mementos of this unique experience.
Our free walking tour proceeds through Tetuán's streets, leading us to the renowned Calle del Oro in Tarrafín. We'll pass through another historic gate, Bab Ruah, and immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of the ancient Jewish quarter of Mellah.
