If you are coming to Toledo for the first time, you cannot miss this essential tour to get to know the city, find your way around it and learn about its history!
We will begin our free tour of Toledo from the meeting point in the old minor Jewish quarter, the Jewish nerve centre of the city where the Alcaná was formerly located.
We will learn about the legends that have been created around the city, such as those referring to the time when the three cultures coexisted: Christians, Muslims and Jews.
We will contemplate the Holy Cathedral Church, whose construction dates back to the 13th century and is located in a place that was used by Visigoths and Arabs for religious purposes. We will continue through passages and narrow alleys until we enter the Jewish quarter to learn about what life was like for this culture and what businesses they frequented.
We will learn about the three religions that coexisted in the city: Christians, Muslims and Jews.
At the end of this tour you will not only learn the history of this city, you will also know the main streets, giving you the perfect location for when you are enjoying your free time.
