Free tour of the Prado's masterpieces with a restorer! 😊

I propose a tour of the largest and most important art gallery in the world, the Prado Museum , during which we will explore the most outstanding artists and masterpieces.

First, we'll learn a little about the origins of both the building that houses the museum and the collections.
Next, following chronological order, we will explore the centuries between the 15th and 19th centuries , placing special emphasis on those artists who worked in Spain or for the Spanish Monarchy. From Bosch, Titian, El Greco, Rubens, and Velázquez (among others), to Goya, we will familiarize ourselves with the Flemish, Italian, and Spanish schools.

What will we see?
1- Origins of the building and the collections.

2- European Renaissance 15th century: Rogier Van der Weyden, Hans Memling, El Bosco, Joaquim Patinir, Fra Angelico, Dürer, Raphael and a surprise work ;)

3- European Renaissance of the 16th century: Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese, El Greco.

4- European painting of the 17th century: Rubens, Ribera, Velázquez, Zurbarán, Murillo.

5- The 18th Century and Goya. His Beginnings at Court.

7- 19th Century: Goya's final stage.

Join me as we delve into the great treasure housed in the Prado Museum, understanding the different historical contexts and the relationship between one work and another, learning a lot while having fun :)

How much does this tour cost?
Free tours don't have a set price; instead, each person gives the guru whatever amount they consider appropriate at the end (usually amounts between €10 and €50, depending on how satisfied they are with the tour).

*You must arrive at the meeting point with your museum ticket already purchased. I recommend purchasing it online at https://entradas.museodelprado.es/ or in person at the museum the day before to avoid delays in entering.
**This tour is carried out in small groups of a maximum of 7 people, so the dynamic is familiar and close :)
