The Kavanagh Building is a residential skyscraper in Retiro, Buenos Aires. Designed in 1934, it is considered a pinnacle of modernist architecture.[3]
This avenue is famous for its numerous demi-palaces and extensive presence of the French academy architecture that was the preferred style Buenos Aires at the turn of the 20th century.
In this square we can find museums, bars, cultural centers and the famous Recoleta cemetery next to the Church of Pilar. On weekends a large crafts fair runs through it and is filled with music and free shows.
One of the first museums of the city, it hosts works by Goya, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Rodin, Manet and Chagall among other artists
