Hi everyone and welcome to Reykjavik!
I'm Gigi. I'm originally from Mexico with a background as an art curator.
Please join me for this walking tour and learn about the best corners of my beloved city. You will experience art, architecture, history, and Icelandic culture.
The old town of Reykjavik hides one of the best-preserved treasures in all of Iceland. We will review more than 1,500 years of history, starting from Northman, going through the Norse, Celtics, and Vikings until arriving at present-day Reykjavik.
I will explain to you the meaning of the murals in the city, the styles of the buildings as well as the history of the city. I will also share stories about the local artists, artisans, and galleries.
Through a small group philosophy, passionate storytelling, and collaboration with local businesses, artists, and artisans. I will offer you a friendly and unforgettable experience of the old town of Reykjavik.
